Diana Bahati’s former nanny Irene buys new mansion days after relocating from bedsitter
By Steve Ireri, September 19, 2026Diana Bahati’s former nanny Irene Nekesa has unveiled a new mansion just days after relocating from a bedsitter, leaving her emotional as she celebrated what she described as a major blessing from God.
Speaking in a YouTube video on Saturday, September 19, 2026, Irene proudly welcomed her followers to the new home, taking them through the compound and showing them the exterior of the mansion.
The house, which is mainly grey in colour, features a grey gate and a spacious compound, with an exterior balcony leading from the main door.
The balcony is finished with brown tiles, adding a contrasting touch to the predominantly grey exterior of the house.
The mansion is also located in an area surrounded by other modern houses, giving Irene’s new home the appearance of a major step up from the single room where she had been living.
As she stood outside the gate, Irene could hardly contain her emotions, repeatedly expressing disbelief at the new home and crediting God for what she described as a blessing.
“Welcome to Irene Nekesa’s new mansion. Wow, I want to open the gate for you all to see the mansion now. I am happy and teary because when God says yes, it is yes,” she said.
Irene then opened the gate and invited her followers to have a glimpse of the compound, appearing visibly overwhelmed by the transformation in her life.
“These are blessings. I am really grateful to God. Look at the way this house is smart. Wow. I also cannot believe,” she said.
The former nanny appeared particularly excited about the compound, pointing out a section that she said could eventually be turned into a parking area as she continues to dream about an even bigger future.
“I have shown you the outside. Now let me show you. And you see this place here; when God blesses me again, this one will be the parking for cars,” she said.
Rather than viewing the unfinished section as a limitation, Irene said she already had plans for it should she receive another financial blessing.
“Because if God gives me cars, why should I also say no to that?” she added.
Her emotional moment continued as she knelt down outside the house to pray over the property, appearing grateful for what she considers a major milestone in her life.
“Let me even pray for this mansion while kneeling here,” Irene said.
Irene, however, did not reveal the full interior of the house in the video, promising her followers that she would give them a closer look at the inside in another video.
“So I will show you the interior in another video,” she said.
