Diamond Platnumz heads to Tarime after breakup with Zuchu

Tanzanian music star Nasseb Juma, widely known as Diamond Platnumz, is set to perform in Tarime, Mara Region, as he continues his Retro Tour just days after his highly publicised breakup with fellow singer Zuchu.
A video shared on Diamond Platnumz’s official social media pages on Friday, July 17, 2026, shows the singer travelling to Tarime alongside close family members, including his mother and brother, Rommy Jons, as well as members of his management team.
The video was accompanied by the caption: “Safari kuelekea Tarime for another Retro Experience!” Diamond’s team wrote.
The message indicated that Diamond and his team were on their way to Tarime for another Retro Experience event, which forms part of the ongoing Retro Tour.
Music tour
In a separate promotional post, Diamond’s official social media pages highlighted his recent Retro Tour performance in Morocco before announcing Tarime, Mara Region, as the next stop on the tour.
According to the post, Diamond is scheduled to perform at Shamba La Bibi in Tarime on July 19, 2026, as part of the ongoing retro tour.
“Diamond Platnumz, Marry You!, Retro Tour, Morocco 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦. Retro Tour’s next stop is Tarime Mara, July 19, 2026, Shamba La Bibi”, his management wrote.
The post also revealed that the singer will take the tour to Australia, where he is scheduled to perform in Perth on October 10 and Melbourne on October 11, as he continues entertaining fans across different countries.
“Australia, Perth, 10 October; Melbourne, 11 October,” the management added.
Earlier, Diamond excited his Rwandan fans after announcing an upcoming performance in Kigali.
He revealed that he is set to perform at BK Arena in Kigali on August 29, 2026.
“Rwanda 🇷🇼 You know I have been missing you, right? Aug 29th at the BK Arena, Kigali, we have a night to remember then,” Diamond said on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
Diamond’s latest update comes days after he and Zuchu confirmed the end of their relationship, a breakup that sparked widespread reactions among fans across East Africa.
Despite the split, the singer appears focused on his music career as he continues performing for audiences across the region and beyond.
