Diamond Platnumz and Ali Kiba light up Kigoma with electrifying performances

The two Bongo Flava giants on Monday, July 20, 2026, attracted attention after they performed among other musicians at the historic event presided over by Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu.
However, the artistes performed separately during the celebrations and did not share the stage for a joint performance.
Earlier, Tanzanian entertainer who turned politician Clayton Revocatus Chipando, widely known as Baba Levo, during a press briefing on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, had announced that the two stars would headline the entertainment lineup for the SGR groundbreaking ceremony in Kigoma, raising excitement among music lovers who anticipated seeing the two rivals perform at the same venue.
“Diamond na Ali Kiba watakutana kwenye stage moja Kigoma, tarehe ishirini, siku ya jumatatu mwezi huu wa saba. Mama anaenda kuweka jiwe la msingi pale Kigoma kwa ajili wa ujenzi wa SGR,” Baba Levo said.
