“So many see how outspoken he is. Very few see how TRULY decent and human he is,” Chiki Kuruka said.

Kindness at AfroNation

Chiki recalled what happened during the AfroNation festival over the weekend. She explained that Charisma did not know she already had a backstage pass for him. She also noted that he never asked her for one.

“I have so many examples of Charisma’s kindness. This past weekend at AfroNation, he didn’t even know I had a backstage pass for him, NEITHER DID HE ASK,” Chiki Kuruka said.

She went on to explain that Charisma chose to help musician Bensoul instead. According to Chiki, he walked Bensoul around the entire festival to make sure he reached the backstage area on time. She said Charisma believed he would have to walk back alone, but that did not stop him from helping.

“But he walked Bensoul around the entire festival to make sure he got backstage on time, in the belief that he would have to walk the whole way back solo. He didn’t mind; he just wanted everyone to win,” Chiki Kuruka said.

Chiki said she later gave Charisma the backstage pass she had kept for him. She explained that his reaction showed that he had not expected any special treatment. According to her, he appreciated the gesture without any sense of entitlement.

“When I gave him the pass, it was like I had given him a Bentley. because he had ZERO entitlement or expectation of it,” Chiki Kuruka said.

She ended her message by expressing her appreciation for Charisma. Chiki said he is one of a kind and made it clear how highly she thinks of him after the experience they shared at the festival.
