In a heartfelt message shared on Monday, August 10,2026, following their colourful traditional wedding in Kilgoris, Narok County, Charlene praised Yunge for the role he has played in her life, describing him as a man who has helped her grow while expressing excitement about their future together.
“Above all, to thank the one who pursued me, loves me, adores me, and sharpens me. A man after God’s own heart, so intelligent and smart, kind and caring,” Charlene wrote.
She went on to express her excitement about beginning married life with Yunge, saying she was looking forward to sharing the future with him.
“The event was beautiful, but I can’t wait to do life with you,” she added.
Charlene’s message came after the couple held their traditional wedding ceremony on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Ruto family’s Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris.
The ceremony brought together members of the Ruto family and Yunge’s family for a celebration that marked an important milestone in the couple’s relationship.
