Bolo Bespoke starts workout journey after facing criticism over his weight gain

Speaking in a TikTok video on Thursday, June 18, 2026, Bolo said he had noticed the criticism directed at his changing appearance and decided to take action.
He admitted that comments about his pot belly had become noticeable and that he was no longer comfortable ignoring them.
“I am a whole kingpin, but I am seeing bad comments about my potbelly. I don’t want that again,” Bolo wrote.
The fashion designer went on to ask his followers who would be willing to join him as he begins his workout journey, turning the criticism into motivation to improve his fitness.
“Who else wants to join me for these workouts?” he asked.
Bolo also acknowledged that his pot belly had grown significantly, joking that the situation had reached a point where he needed to personally take action.
“This potbelly has become so big, though,” he said.
He then humorously blamed his followers for failing to help him reduce it before revealing that he had decided to find his own solution through exercise.
“And you all failed to help me reduce it, so now I have resorted to my own ways,” he added.
Bolo later shared a video showing himself taking part in morning runs and workout sessions as he officially began his fitness journey.
The video showed the fashion designer putting in effort through physical exercises, giving his followers a glimpse of the steps he is taking after speaking about his desire to reduce his pot belly.
Owalo’s outfit
Taking to social media on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Bolo showcased the outfit while appearing to respond to critics who had questioned the tailoring of Owalo’s original look.
“Ile ya waziri mlisema haijashonwa poa. Bas ndio hii nimewaletea ya Fundi mmoja Africa. Price Tag Ksh 364,000/- only,” Bolo Bespoke wrote.
According to Bolo, the Ksh364,000 price tag is a limited-time offer that will run until the end of the month.
“Strictly by bookings only. Offer lasts by end of the Month,” he added.
