Bolo Bespoke shares tips on how to survive in marriage

Bolo made the remarks while reflecting on marriage and responding to comments from people who often portray the institution negatively.
“Endeleeni kuongea vibaya mkisema Ndoa inabamba mafala tu! Ohh wengine ati tunakaliwa chapati,” Bolo said.
He suggested that couples should not be overly concerned about how other people perceive their relationships, arguing that different approaches can work for different couples.
“If it works, ukiwa umekaliwa, then well… To survive in marriage you need to try what works for you,” he said.
According to Bolo, how couples relate to each other can determine how they navigate challenges within marriage.
“Inadepend vile mnapelekana but generally MARRIAGE IS SWEET,” he added.
Bolo’s recent marriage struggles
His comments come shortly after the designer publicly apologised to his wife, Josphine Mueni, admitting that he had missed important moments when she needed him by her side.
““My love, it hurts knowing I missed so many precious moments with you when you needed me by my side. I’m truly sorry. Please forgive me. I promise to always be here for you. You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known, and in this life or the next, I will always choose you. Nakupenda sana, my love,” Bolo said in the apology.
He also reaffirmed his love for Mueni, telling her, “You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known, and in this life or the next, I will always choose you. Nakupenda sana, my love.”
The apology followed Bolo’s earlier disclosure about going through what he described as a mid-life crisis while navigating challenges in his personal life. He had also spoken about wanting to return home to his wife and children after Mueni complained that he was hardly home.
Bolo has continued to publicly document aspects of his marriage, including its challenges and moments of reconciliation, while describing himself as a family man who values spending time with his wife and children.
