Baba Talisha speaks about 2 years of mental and emotional exhaustion
By Paulette Mboga, September 11, 2026Content creator and photographer Baba Talisha has revealed that he has been mentally and emotionally drained for the last 2 and a half years, explaining that he chose to remain silent because he did not feel every battle needed to be made public.
The content creator said he had been dealing with a situation that affected him mentally and emotionally while he was under a gag order. He explained that the restriction left him with very little he could say publicly about what he was going through.
“For the last 2½ years, I’ve been mentally and emotionally drained, but I chose silence because not every battle needs an audience,” Baba Talisha said on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
He explained that his silence was not an indication that he had stopped working or taking care of his responsibilities. Baba Talisha said he has continued working, collaborating with brands and taking care of his family during the period.

“I was under a gag order, meaning there was very little I could publicly say about a situation that was already mentally and emotionally draining me,” Baba Talisha said.
Baba Talisha explains his lifestyle
Baba Talisha also addressed the trips and other activities people may have seen him doing during the period. He explained that some of these activities were connected to his work and brand partnerships, while he continues to live according to what he can afford.
“I work. I collaborate with brands. Some of the trips and things you see are part of brand partnerships. I simply live according to my capacity and take care of my family,” Baba Talisha said.

He urged people to seek information before making conclusions about another person’s situation. Baba Talisha said appearances may not always show the battles someone could be dealing with privately.
“So before celebrating someone’s ‘downfall,’ ASK. VERIFY. THEN SPEAK,” Baba Talisha said.
He further explained that someone who appears to be struggling may actually be dealing with personal matters they have chosen not to make public. Baba Talisha said silence can sometimes mean a person has decided not to involve others in what they are facing.
