Streamer University has rapidly grown into one of the most coveted opportunities in the creator economy since its launch by Kai Cenat in May 2025. The inaugural edition was held at the University of Akron in Ohio and attracted millions of applications from aspiring creators around the world.
Only about 120 to 150 creators were selected for the first cohort, making acceptance into the programme highly competitive.
The inaugural class also featured a number of rising digital personalities from across the world who participated in content creation workshops, audience growth sessions, collaboration exercises and networking opportunities designed to help them build sustainable online careers.
