2Mbili issues directive after gospel artiste pleads to use his BMW in music video
By Steve Ireri, December 15, 2025Car reviewer and YouTuber 2Mbili has announced that he will support upcoming artistes and content creators who want to feature his BMW Z4 in their projects.
In a post shared on his Instagram on Monday, December 15, 2025, 2Mbili revealed that a gospel group approached him to use the car in their upcoming music video, requesting a sleek convertible for the shoot.
“Yesterday I Supported An UpComing Artist In His Coming Gospel Video Song!! He Really Wanted To Have A Sleek Convertible in His Song,” he wrote.
2Mbili said that the BMW Z4 has been in high demand by artistes and content creators, noting that even officers from the DCI asked for photos with the vehicle during a recent appearance.
He explained that he and the gospel group were busy at the time and could not accommodate the request immediately, so the officers left in their own car.
“This BMW Z4 has Had A Big Demand By Artists & Content Creators, and to the Extreme, DCI officers Yesterday Asked for photos with it,” he added.
The YouTuber stated that he now wants to support more artistes and content creators, offering access to the BMW for a small fee.
He included his contact number in the post for those interested, encouraging others to reach out if they want to ride in the car for music videos or creative projects.
“Since We Were Busy, We Told them to wait until we finish, but they left with their Subaru!! Now I want To Support more artists & content Creators or anyone else who wants to ride in it at A Small Fee!! Just Call Me,” he added.

Appeal
The directive comes just months after 2Mbili publicly appealed to Kenyans for financial support to help him acquire his dream car.
In a post in January 2024, the comedian revealed that he wanted a BMW X4 worth Ksh7 million as his birthday gift but said he could not afford it on his own at the time.
He explained that his birthday was only a week away and admitted that raising the full amount before then would not be possible without public support.
“10th January is 31st birthday!!! BMW X4 is the only one I want. I cannot afford it by next week… but with your support, we can. It is only Sh. 7 million,” 2mbili wrote.

At the time, 2Mbili said he already owned a BMW 3 Series 320d, which was barely a year old, having acquired it in July 2023.
He also disclosed that the vehicle carried a personalised number plate bearing the inscription “Tapoc 22.”
“God did! Last night we sold out #whoslaughingnow, and for the hard work this month, I decided to award myself another ride in my class. A German machine for the African prince of comedy. To more wins, Tapoc 22,” he added.
