Wapendwa Muziki discuss pregnancy hopes despite Ninah’s fibroid condition

Gospel duo Wapendwa Muziki have opened up on their desire to embrace parenthood despite the health challenges posed by Ninah’s ongoing battle with fibroids.

Speaking in a video shared on their YouTube channel on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, Mesh noted that one of the less-discussed realities of marriage during pregnancy is the adjustment couples must make when intimacy is affected.

He said they need to learn from experienced people about how to handle situations where a wife’s pregnancy limits conjugal rights, pointing out that many marriages break at this point because some spouses are unable to cope without intimacy.

“By the way, we need to sit with experienced people to guide us on how others manage when a wife becomes pregnant. You are used to conjugal rights, but now you cannot have them. I think that is where most marriages break, because some couples cannot cope without intimacy,” Wapendwa’s Mesh said.

He emphasised that marriage is not easy and that this stage can be a breaking point for many relationships.

“Marriage is not easy. Actually, many marriages break at that point,” he added.

Ninah, on her part, urged couples to treasure their health, reflecting on how frequent hospital visits can take a toll on one’s well-being.

She said the experience is far from enjoyable and underscored the importance of good medical care in navigating such challenges.

“By the way, we need to treasure our health. These frequent hospital visits are not easy, and they are not fun,” she said.

On the same note, Mesh expressed gratitude that they have the support of a highly skilled gynaecologist, revealing that they had been assured Ninah’s pregnancy would not be affected by her condition.

This, he said, has given them confidence to plan for the future despite the circumstances.

“But thank God we have the best gynaecologist, so we are sorted. The doctor has assured us that any time we have a pregnancy, it will not be affected by the fibroids.”

Ninah shared her personal hope that one day she would wake up and find herself completely healed from fibroids, describing it as her earnest prayer as they look forward to building their family.

“Right now, my prayer is that I wake up one day and find that I do not have any conditions or fibroids, and that I am completely healed,” Ninah added.
