Vera Sidika causes frenzy in Lodwar as police queue up for photo moments

Her arrival set off a wave of excitement, with uniformed officers abandoning their usual stern demeanour as they jostled to capture the moment with the celebrity.
The star’s presence seemed to dissolve the formal atmosphere as policemen who even had guns strapped on their backs scrambled to take turns posing beside her, some flashing broad smiles while others attempted to hold back their visible awe.
In a video that Vera shared on her Instagram page on the same day, phones could be seen clicking relentlessly as the law enforcers documented their close encounter, creating a light-hearted spectacle that left bystanders amused.
Vera, who had travelled to Lodwar to headline a nightlife event, appeared unfazed by the commotion.
She graciously posed for photo after photo, at times laughing along with the officers who seemed determined not to miss their chance at a snapshot with her.
While posting the video, Vera Sidika noted that boys will always remain boys, whether dressed in uniform or robed in a collar, emphasising that some things do not change regardless of titles.
She added that their road trip quickly turned into a selfie trip as the police officers scrambled to take turns capturing moments with her. She also said the scene was both amusing and endearing, highlighting how her presence instantly shifted the atmosphere from formality to fanfare.

Vera had been accompanied by her best friend and fellow nightclub host, Ciggie Johnson, who watched the moment unfold with a smile.
A car they had been travelling in was parked nearby in the video, and her team also watched in fascination as the officers scrambled to capture pictures with her.
As the scene continued, members of the community were also drawn to it and could be seen observing closely as the excited officers asked her to strike different poses to make their photos stand out.
