Stevo Simple Boy reveals his romance with Brenda started before his split with ex

Speaking together with Brenda in a video shared on his YouTube channel on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the ‘Ndio Maanake’ hitmaker detailed how he met Brenda without disclosing his existing marital status, creating a tangled narrative involving multiple women.
“At that time we met, I did not tell Brenda that I had a wife. I did not tell her, but I did have a wife, and she was truly my wife. I did not want to tell Brenda. So when we met, I said I did not have a wife,” Stevo confessed.
He explained that he was living in Kibera then and brought his wife to stay at his home without Brenda’s knowledge.
Mombasa crushie
Stevo further disclosed the presence of another woman named Joy, who came from Mombasa.
He narrated that while he was settling with Brenda, he had also sent a message to Joy, asking her to visit him, and her arrival only served to complicate matters further.
“There was another lady from Mombasa called Joy. Some time ago, she came into my life when I had my third manager, Chingi Boy. I was somewhat romantically involved with her, and she warned that she would find out. So I had arranged for Joy to stay with me as well. I told Joy I had no girlfriend; then Brenda arrived. After that, I brought my other wife to the house,” he revealed.
Describing the complexity of the situation, Stevo denied that he had asked his ex-wife to visit him, saying she had merely decided on her own to stop by his place.
However, he explained that they had made plans for him to send her fare to come visit, but he had made it clear that this would only happen after a show he had in Kisumu.
“I told my wife that I was going to a show, and I would send her fare to come back. Brenda was attending classes and going to school, so I did not bring Brenda back home. The other woman stayed for two days without knowing about Brenda because she was at school. After two days, she packed her clothes and left. I was calling Brenda, but the other woman was upset.”

Stevo’s wife, Brenda, who is currently pregnant, joined the conversation in the video and offered her perspective on the tangled relationships.
She said she is now happy with Stevo but cautioned that beneath the innocent image people admire online lies a man quite capable of charming ladies.
“People used to think she was innocent, but she is a dragon, just like other women. Joy found me and had to leave because she was stressed. A friend of Stevo took Joy and lied to me that she was his wife, but Stevo had called her. So I stayed, and we became friends because she was taken up by Stevo’s best friend.”
