Stevo Simple Boy reveals he bought his new car for Ksh350K
By Steve Ireri, September 26, 2025Fast-rising musician Stevo Simple Boy has revealed that he bought his latest car for Ksh350,000, sharing insights about the vehicle and his plans to upgrade it in the future.
Speaking on Thursday, September 25, 2025, Stevo said he is not stressed about the size or status of a car.
He explained that whether it is big or small, as long as it moves and reaches its destination, it serves its purpose.
“People say that a car being small is a big deal, haha. I believe that whether a car is big or small, what matters is that it moves and gets you where you need to go, so I have no stress. Even if it is a small car, I am fine with it,” he said.
He noted that the vehicle is old, but after bodywork, it could become even trendier than cars owned by some artistes.
“This car is old, but once it has bodywork, it could even be trendier than some artistes’ cars,” he said.
The singer explained that the car is fully his and contrasted it with a previous vehicle he had attempted to buy, which he returned after the payment did not go through.
He said the Ksh350,000 car allows him to move around comfortably, and he intends to upgrade or buy a new one when his finances allow.
“This one is fully mine. The other car I had tried to buy before was just for fun, and I returned it because the payment did not go through. I bought this one for Ksh350,000. I plan to move around with it, and when I get more money, I will upgrade or buy a new car,” Stevo explained.

Acknowledging that he is still learning to drive, Stevo said he has booked a place at a driving school and is preparing to take lessons soon.
Despite being second-hand, he expressed excitement about using the car while ensuring it remains in good condition.
“It is second-hand, and I am not yet confident driving it, but I have booked at a driving school and I will learn soon.”
Best celeb cars
In the same interview, Stevo also commented on cars owned by other artistes. He said he has noticed some celebrities with impressive vehicles, including Khaligraph Jones, MP Jalango, and KRG The Don, acknowledging that they all own cars.
“I have noticed some celebrities with nice cars, like Khaligraph, Subaru, Mp Jalango, and KRG The Don, they all have vehicles.”
However, he added that for some artistes, particularly those he considers “clout-driven,” the flashy cars seem more for show than substance. Stevo noted that Ssaru, among the artistes, appears to genuinely own a good car and is making an effort to maintain it.
“But for some of them, I feel it is just clout; it is all for show and flashy appearances. As for Ssaru among the artistes, I see he is genuinely making an effort and has a proper car,” he added.
