Ex-Nairobi governor Mike Sonko’s daughter Saumu Mbuvi has come out to speak up over her second baby daddy whom she considered a deadbeat.

Saumu who dated the controversial Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip around 2019, welcomed their first child together in March 2020 before parting ways in February 2021.

In a Q&A session with her fans on Instagram, she called him out for neglecting their daughter saying he does not provide for her in any way.

Deadbeat kabisa, has never supported a thing,” she responded to; “Is Lamu senator supporting her kid?”

Saumu who is currently ‘single and happy’ also says she would advise her 25-year-old self to not go after marriage life but rather travel the world and gain as much experience as possible.

Asked by another fan the advice she would give to herself at 25, Saumu said: “Travel, get to learn from that marriage life ain’t going nowhere.”

Saumu further dismissed claims that she has dated Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and likened him to a father.

“Ever dated Governor Hassan Joho?” Responding to the fan, Saumu said: “Hello no. He is like a father to me.”

Another fan asked, “Are you dating someone now?” And she responded; “Single and happy.”
