Mumias East Member of Parliament (MP) Peter Salasya is over the moon following an affectionate response from entrepreneur and socialite Huddah Monroe.
Known for his hilarity on social media, Salasya jokily asked Huddah to send a pin of her current location, adding that he has dedicated 24 hours to spending quality time with her.
“Thank you for sending love my way @huddahthebosschick nimetenga masaa ishirini na nne (24 hours) dakika 1440 (minutes) just to experience you, nipee location tu sasa we exchange notes, “Salasya wrote.
Salasya’s response comes after Huddah, through her Instastories confessed that she has a soft spot for the youthful MP.

Huddah, as a way of engaging with her followers, through her Instastories, requested her fans to anonymously ask her questions, and she would answer.
However, one of her followers told her to stop attacking Salasya, who has been publicly expressing his admiration for her.
The businesswoman responded with affection, saying that she loved him.
“Ask me a question,” Huddah asked. “Usiwahi ingilia Peter Salasya Tena,, Komaa Nkt,” Fan requested.
“Sawa @peter_salasya nakupenda,” Huddah said.

Taking to her Instastories, Huddah sarcastically insinuated that Salasya’s advances were influenced by the bhang from Busia County.
“Naona bangi za Busia Zilimuonyesha mimi, (I see bhang from Busia showed him me),” she said.

On Thursday, August 9, 2024, Salasya publicly declared his admiration for the veteran socialite.
The comic lawmaker praised the businesswoman for her unconditional support of Generation Z’s anti-government countrywide protests.
According to Salasya, Huddah’s solidarity towards Gen Z’s demos is something commendable.
Salasya looking for a wife
A few months ago the lawmaker came out publically and disclosed that he was tired of being a bachelor and that he was searching for a wife.
Salasya’s single status often sparks discussions not only online but also in the real world with some women even carrying placards in the streets written, “Please marry me, Salasya,” while asking for his hand on marriage.
However, Salasya explained that it’s challenging for him to find a wife because Nairobi women often prefer city life, whereas he wants someone who can stay at home in the village.
He mentioned that someone advised him to marry a teacher or banker, as their busy schedules would prevent them from causing stress.
“Shida ya wife na hii ni lazima wasichana waelewe biblia inasema submissive. It’s biblical it’s spiritual, you should be submissive,” Salasya shared.
