Controversial Kenyan gospel artiste Ringtone, whose real name is Alex Apoko, now claims he believes his friendship with Tanzanian top actress, Jacqueline Wolper, will end in marriage.

Speaking to K24 Entertainment on Tuesday, June 25, Ringtone said “as of now, Wolper is my spiritual wife”.

A viral hash tag – Ringtone Weds Wolper – topped other topics on Twitter Tuesday, with a section of users on the microblogging website wondering whether Ringtone had sponsored the hash tag.

It has now emerged that Ringtone, who has been pictured often posing with a placard written: ‘I am looking for a wife’, was pulling such stunts ahead of the release of his new song called Natafuta Bibi, which was released on Tuesday, June 25.

The music video was uploaded to his YouTube page Tuesday evening.

In the new jam, the musician has featured Jacqueline Wolper as his video act.

Jacqueline Wolper, 31, is Tanzanian artiste Harmonize’s ex-lover.

According to Ringtone, Ms Wolper “possesses every Christian quality I am looking for in a wife”.

It remains unclear whether Jacqueline Wolper will reciprocate the said-love Ringtone has professed.
