Rachael Otuoma announces she has officially dropped her late husband’s name
By Steve Ireri, November 8, 2025Content creator and widow of the late footballer Ezekiel Otuoma, Rachael, has announced that she has officially dropped her late husband’s name and taken that of her new fiancé, Jabilo Aol, as the couple prepares to relocate abroad.
Speaking in a TikTok live on Saturday, November 8, 2025, Rachael revealed that all her official documents now bear her new name, Rachael Aol, marking a new chapter in her personal life.
She explained that every form or document she fills out now identifies her as Mrs Aol, adding that her identity records no longer carry the Otuoma name she became known by after her marriage to the late footballer.
“My documents right now read Rachael Aol, not Rachael Otuoma. Any document I need to fill now uses Aol and not Otuoma,” she said.
Rachael, who rose to prominence through her TikTok presence and emotional journey following the death of her husband in December 2024, said that the change was both symbolic and necessary as she and her new partner prepare for relocation.
She disclosed that they are in the process of moving to the United Kingdom, where they plan to begin a new life together and welcome their first child.
“We have to go to the UK, guys. We are going to relocate soon. This was a must. We needed this. Our baby will be born there,” Rachael added.

The content creator said that her decision to take her new partner’s name was deliberate and aligned with their next phase as a family, noting that her unborn child will not be born in Kenya but abroad.
She described the relocation as a significant step for them and expressed gratitude for the new beginning it represents.
“Our child will not be born in Kenya, even if not specifically in the UK,” she added.
Despite the legal and official name change, Rachael clarified that she would continue using the Otuoma name on TikTok for now, stating that the platform has sentimental and professional value tied to that identity.
She mentioned that unless her husband instructs otherwise, she intends to keep using Otuoma as part of her online persona while recognising Aol as her formal name in all official matters.
“But for TikTok, I will not change the name unless my partner tells me to. I will still use the Otuoma name on TikTok even though I am now Mrs Aol. I see someone commenting asking me to give them that name, but they should know it will not come with TikTok stardom. Otuoma is just for TikTok, but in serious matters, I am Rachael Aol,” Rachael shared.
