Business mogul and socialite Lucy Wambui, popularly known as Phoina Beauty, had a fun time hanging out with her close friend, socialite-turned-musician Diana B.
According to a video posted by Diana on Monday, January 13, 2024, on Instagram, the two were seen hanging out at the businesswoman’s shop before heading out, where they decided to swap cars.
Diana, who was Kenya’s first female musician to clinch the YouTube golden plaque, took Phoina’s Land Rover Discovery while Phoina took Diana’s blue Range Rover.
The two then took the cars for a test drive, and Diana is heard exclaiming that Phoina’s car was a big machine and she couldn’t get over it.
She started the ignition, and the car roared to life with a smooth yet powerful sound, prompting her to keep gushing over it.
“Eei, guys, talk about big machines. This is Phoina’s car, and I totally, totally love it. And guys, tume-exchange magari, and guys listen to that. Wuu, yaas,” Diana excitedly said.
On her part, Phoina praised the choice of colours on Diana’s Range Rover, which was blue on the outside and red on the inside, saying the features had swept her off her feet.
She then joked that the car was now hers, declaring that she wasn’t giving it back to the reality TV star.
She also started the ignition and genuinely seemed captivated by the luxe features of the high-end Range Rover.
“Guys, I’m in the red interior, blue exterior Range Rover, and mimi sirudishii Diana hii gari. Sikia machine. Sikia machine vile inaguruma,” Phoina said.
Dating Diana’s Hubby
While speaking to YouTuber Patience M. Titus in September 2023, the socialite revealed that she doesn’t date Kenyan men and also debunked rumours that she may have had a relationship with Diana’s husband, Bahati.
She noted that Bahati is a good man and that there is nothing between them apart from her close and good relationship with his wife, Diana.
“Bahati aliombewa. He is a good man. He can do what he wants. He is blessed, and sisi we are just good friends,” she noted.
However, during the launch of her skincare and beauty line on Wednesday, March 24, 2022, Diana’s husband, Bahati, stunned guests when he announced that he could date Phoina.
Bahati had been attending the event to represent his wife, Diana, who had fallen sick before the occasion.
While giving his speech, he told Phoina’s mum that he was looking for money so he could come back and woo her.
This, he said, was because Phoina had never introduced any boyfriend to them, and as a friend, he was concerned.
“The only thing I am wondering, Phoina, is that you have not introduced us to your boyfriend. Mama Phoina, natafuta pesa, naeza kumchukua kama bibi,” Bahati said.
