Nyota Ndogo’s Danish husband Henning Nielsen dug deep into his pockets to surprise his pregnant wife with a Ksh3 million gift.
The Voi-based singer said she broke down in tears of joy when she found out what her husband had done for her.
“Wapenzi kwa sauzi navyo andika huu ujumbe machozi yananidondoka maana alichonifanyia mume wangu nikitu kikubwa na chandoto yangu. Kesho niko na news muimu sana mume wangu kanipa zawadi,” Nyota Ndogo announced on September 14 before she revealed the gift.
On Friday, September 15, the 42-year-old mother of two revealed that her 60-year-old husband had bought her land worth Ksh3 million.
Nyota Ndogo said her husband gifted her the land and told her that it was in her name and not his.
The singer, who operates a restaurant in Voi, said she would build a hotel on the piece of land gifted to her.
“Ningependa kuwatangazia kua mume wangu kanipa zawadi ya plot ambayo ni ukubwa wake ni 100 by 100. Nakuniambia andika jina lako hio ni yako kwakua unanipenda kweli. Plot yenyewe imenunuliwa milioni tatu na ipo Voi. Sasa inshallah tujenge mkahawa wetu pendwa. Kila kitu na mna wake. Wakati wa Mungu ndio sawa,” Nyota Ndogo announced in part.
Pregnancy
Nyota Ndogo’s husband bought her the Ksh3 million piece of land just a week after the singer announced that she was pregnant for him – seven years after they got married.
The 42-year-old songbird on September 5, 2023, revealed that she was expecting her first child with her Danish husband.
Nielsen, however, banned Nyota Ndogo from speaking to the press about her pregnancy.
18-year age gap
Nyota Ndogo is married to a Danish man Henning Nielsen who is way older than her.
The singer, who was born on January 3, 1981, has on multiple occasions trolled for marrying the Danish who is 18 years older than her.
The two lovebirds got married in a colourful wedding held in May 2016 after years of dating.
Nyota Ndogo has never been apprehensive talking about her husband’s age publicly.
The 42-year-old Coast-based singer poured out her heart to her Danish husband as he celebrated his 60th birthday on January 27, 2023.
“Happy 60th birthday my husband. Hata ufike miaka mia wewe ni wangu mpaka mwisho. Barafu wa moyo wangu nakupenda ama nitasema vipi kwa Kiswahili.The ice cube of my heart. Enjoy your day,” Nyota Ndogo wrote.
