Nigerian musician 2Baba unveils new management team

Renowned Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has announced a new team management for his brand, The Guy Entertainment.

In a joint statement on Instagram on July 8, 2025, The Guy Entertainment revealed that the new management team has been carefully assembled to reinvent and amplify every facet of 2Baba’s brand.

The company stated that 2Baba’s new management team comprises seasoned professionals in the music business, branding, digital innovation, and entertainment law, committed to making strategic, value-driven decisions that reflect the artist’s identity and standards.

“We are pleased to officially announce a major new chapter in the legendary career of Nigerian music icon Innocent Ujah Idibia, known and loved around the world as 2Baba,” read the statement in part.

The management company stated that change is pivotal for the artistes’ rich musical legacy and the limitless potential that lies ahead in today’s evolving African entertainment landscape.

Additionally, the management company assured fans of the introduction of new projects and live experiences in the coming few months.

In the coming months, fans and industry partners can look forward to a powerful rollout of new projects, live experiences, and social impact campaigns that will further define 2Baba’s next era.

On his part, 2Baba stated that the new team understands his vision, legacy, and where he is headed as a brand.

Now Muzik

The Nigerian singer was managed by his record label, Hypertek Digital, after officially parting ways with his long-time manager, Efe Omorogbe, who is the CEO of Now Muzik, a talent management company.

The announcement was made through a joint statement posted on Instagram by Now Muzik on March 6, 2024, citing a mutual agreement for the immediate termination of their partnership.

Omorogbe expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with 2Baba, noting that their collaboration went beyond professional realms.

“I am grateful to 2baba for the trust and for the friendship. I am proud of the brands we built together, the music we made, the fans we entertained,” he wrote.

“My team and I look forward to now supporting from the sidelines and continuing to advocate for any and everything 2Baba,” Omorogbe stated.

Reflecting on their accomplishments over the past two decades, he assured the singer of ongoing support from the sidelines.

2Baba, on the other hand, acknowledged the pivotal role Omorogbe and the Now Muzik team played in his career, expressing gratitude while recognising that all good things must eventually end.
