Mzungu lady who went viral over relationship with Kamba TikToker addresses Illuminati links
By Steve Ireri, November 21, 2025Desiree, a mzungu woman who was previously in a relationship with Kamba LGBTQ+ TikToker Emmashir, has clarified the circumstances surrounding their breakup and addressed widespread online rumours linking her to the Illuminati.
The controversy arose after Desiree advised her ex to get rid of a rosary that belonged to a former partner, a conversation that some misinterpreted as evidence of involvement in secret societies.
Desiree, speaking in a TikTok live hosted by Malisafi on Friday, November 21, 2025, explained that her comment about the rosary was simply a practical suggestion and had no deeper meaning.
“So, I could be wrong in this, but I think Emmashir’s ex-lover had a rosary, and she said she had a rosary and that she needed to get rid of it. So I said, why don’t you just throw it away?” she said.

Desiree denied any affiliation with the Illuminati, emphasising that if she were involved in such an organisation, she would be living a lavish lifestyle on a private island.
“Yes, it’s true, I told her to get rid of it because she was saying it belonged to her ex. It is not true I am in the Illuminati because of telling her that. If I were, I would be somewhere, a billionaire right now, and on an island by myself,” Desiree added.
She also stated that she does not understand the concept of the Illuminati in the way it is popularly portrayed online, describing it as a notion often associated with governments or wealthy elites.
Desiree reaffirmed her belief in God and clarified that her faith is consistent with mainstream religious practices.
“Illuminati, I don’t even know what the definition of that is. As far as I am concerned, in America, we say the Illuminati is the government and such stuff to do with rich people. I believe in God. Every religion, except atheists, believes in God,” she added.

The clarification comes days after Emmashir publicly revealed that she had ended her relationship with Desiree and shaded her for having moved on to date another Kenyan TikToker known as Lover Girl.
Emmashir, who previously drew attention for paying her own dowry and marrying herself in accordance with Kamba tradition, had warned both Desiree and her new partner to refrain from dragging her name into online drama.
She made it clear that she had moved on, that she is focused on raising her child, and that she was not seeking conflict with either of them.
“There is something called making money, and you have been seeing me doing that and not making enmity and explain what happened. It will not help me in any way. We allow people to be where they are loved. We did not break up now, but she needs to tell her person to stop lying. I am not looking for anything from them; they should leave me in peace. I moved on a long time ago. She should stop lying,” said Emmashir.
