Mosiria blames men for leak of viral Mama Mboga’s private video
By Paulette Mboga, October 26, 2025Nairobi County Environment Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria has strongly called out men over the viral leak of a mama mboga’s private video, urging them to respect women and stop exposing them online.
Speaking in a video shared on Instagram on Saturday, October 25, 2025, Mosiria directly addressed men, calling on them to respect women and stop exposing them online after private fallouts.

“Let me talk to men; please respect our women. Kuna video nimeona kwenye mtandao; unajua, mama yule ako na mtoto, ako na mzee labda, na mwenye aliyemexpose, I am very sure ni mwanaume labda alikuwa in love na yeye. Kwa hivyo, please men, stop exposing our women,” he said.

‘Stop humiliating women’
Mosiria said he was deeply disturbed by the way some men leak private content of women they once had close relationships with. He warned that such acts can destroy lives and even push victims to take their own lives.
“Tafadhali, why would you do that? You can do that as a joke upate mwanamke yule amejiuwa,” he said. He urged men to be responsible and avoid revenge or humiliation through social media.
“Men, please, kama umeachana na mtu, usiweke video zake kwa mtandao. It is not a good thing,” he added. Mosiria also called on the woman involved to report the matter to the police so that the culprit can face justice. “Naomba ule mama apige ripoti ule mwanaume aweze kuchukuliwa hatua. Why expose such a woman? She is mature, elderly; she doesn’t deserve that,” he said.

Mosiria also expressed concern over the way some people have been criticising and blaming the woman instead of supporting her.
“I’ve seen so many people blaming and criticising that lady, and I truly feel for her. Please, let’s not do this to our women,” he said. He reminded the public that many women are suffering in silence after being blackmailed and betrayed by people they trusted.
“Why share such videos exposing her when she trusted you and shared them in secrecy? Many of our ladies out there are suffering, being blackmailed, and conned by people they once trusted with their private videos or photos,” he said.
