YouTuber King Bizzy has hit back at critics questioning his relationship with content creator Georgina Njenga.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Bizzy made it clear that he is committed to his role in Georgina’s life and that of her child.
“I’m not the stepdad, I’m the dad that stepped up,” he wrote.
The couple recently went public with their relationship, marking the start of a new chapter for Georgina, who shares a child with former Machachari actor Tyler Mbaya alias Baha.
Georgina and Baha’s relationship came to an end in July 2023, with the split confirmed by Georgina during an Instagram Q&A session.
Confirming her relationship with Bizzy, Georgina penned down a hearty message noting that he was the highlight of her 2024 and expressing how much she cherishes their connection.
“Hey my love, my favorite part of this year has been meeting you. You are the best thing that happened to me, and honestly, finally saying I love someone is a big step for me. I love you so much and thank you for understanding me in ways nobody has. You are honestly God-sent, baby,” Georgina shared.
Georgina, Baha breakup
In a past interview with Eve Mungai, Georgina opened up about her split from Baha describing it as a mutual decision influenced by various underlying issues.
Georgina emphasized that the breakup wasn’t due to a single event.
“There was no specific reason, it was just not working, there were just piled-up issues, ni mambo mingi yenye hamjui,” she said, opting not to delve into further details.
She explained that their separation came after both parties agreed the relationship was no longer sustainable, despite efforts to address their challenges, including seeking support from family.
“We sat down and felt hii imeenda, we tried talking for so long but… We tried to involve family,” Georgina shared.
She also underlined the importance of not staying in a relationship solely for the sake of a child, highlighting that co-parenting can still ensure the child’s well-being.
“A child should not be a reason to stay in a relationship, you can co-parent. Tyler loves his daughter and he is in her life. I knew that he would be there even when I was pregnant,” she noted.
Addressing speculation that their breakup was linked to Tyler’s gambling scandal, Georgina clarified that their decision to part ways occurred long before the controversy.
“Aai, we broke up before the gambling issue, ilihappen before ata ikihappen watu walienda kuangalia, ata the unfollowing came before,” she clarified, dismissing the rumours.
Although she acknowledged being aware of Tyler’s gambling activities, Georgina chose not to comment further on the matter.
“I knew he was gambling, but that is his side to talk about, I won’t address that,” she concluded.
