Kenyan Prince claps back at fan who tried to shame him for attending bridal shower
By Steve Ireri, July 13, 2025Digital content creator Kenyan Prince has responded sharply to a fan who attempted to ridicule him for attending the bridal shower of popular influencer and socialite Cashmeer Sayyid, an event that has been making rounds online due to its celebrity-studded guest list.
The event, which was held on the evening of Saturday, July 12, 2025, brought together several high-profile personalities from the influencer and entertainment space.
In a video clip shared by Cashmeer, Prince could be seen enjoying himself in relaxed grey matching sweatpants, mingling and catching up with fellow celebrities, including Ntazola Gloria and Shorn Arwa.
At one point in the footage, he could be seen warmly embracing Shorn Arwa, laughing and exchanging pleasantries as guests celebrated the bride-to-be.
The light-hearted moments, however, attracted criticism from a section of online users, one of whom took a jab at him by suggesting that he may have been invited to the bridal shower because his mannerisms resemble those of a woman.
“Kenyan Prince ako bridal shower ju ya venye yeye hukuwa na umama,” the fan wrote, accompanied by several laughing emojis.
Not one to shy away from responding, Kenyan Prince reposted the comment and tagged the user @i_am_walker.ke, telling him that he is unfazed by the backlash.
“Budaaaa,” Prince wrote, followed by a string of laughing emojis.
The bridal shower is one of several intimate events hosted by Cashmeer Sayyid, who has recently been gifting personalised RSVP cards to her celebrity friends in the build-up to her wedding celebrations.
Her wedding is expected to be one of the most star-studded celebrations in Kenya, given the impressive number of high-profile personalities she has already graced with invitations.
Among those invited are media personality Oga Obinna, content creator Bushra, digital creator presenter Ali, renowned influencer and Khalif Kairo’s former girlfriend Cera Imani, TikToker Kelvin Kinuthia, and media figure Mwalimu Rachael.
Others on the coveted guest list include socialite Lady Risper, digital content creator Sylvia Monayo, lifestyle creator Shiphira, Nairobi socialite Nairobey, Stevo Simple Boy’s ex-girlfriend Pritty Vishy, actress Dorea Chege, comedian Victor Peace, and popular TikToker Sheryl Gabriella, among others.
Speaking about her upcoming nuptials, Cashmeer shared that she is thrilled and fully immersed in preparations to ensure the ceremony leaves a lasting impression.
She also expressed genuine delight over the calibre of guests she has invited, noting her eagerness to celebrate the occasion alongside them.
“My lovelies, I cannot wait to have all of you beautiful babes at my wedding,” she posted.
