A line of sleek, high-end cars, including Range Rovers, was spotted driving up to the location, while guests in white-themed attire posed for photos beside the vehicles.

A giant Olympic rings emblem sat prominently above the entrance, while Zari’s life-size portraits and framed photos of her clutching medals were mounted on the garden’s backdrop, creating a visual tribute to her growing achievements as a young swimming champion.

Inside the main tent, white seats were neatly arranged around tables set with crystal cutlery and floral centrepieces, giving the celebration an intimate yet elegant feel.

A video shared by Matubia captured the lively mood as guests danced and organisers made last-minute touches to the glamorous setting.

In another clip, Matubia was seen dancing joyfully, explaining that she was also using the occasion to celebrate herself for being a good mum throughout the ten years Zari has lived.

In a heartfelt post on Saturday, July 19, 2025, Matubia expressed her pride and love for her daughter.

She wished her the very best on turning another year older and expressed hope that she will continue shining in swimming to the extent that she becomes an Olympic swimming champion.

“Help me wish my swimming champ, my captain, my star, my first fruit, Zari Wanjiku Kamau, a blessed and favoured 10th birthday. This one is going to represent Kenya one day at the Olympics and fly you all across the world! To health and wealth, my champ. Mummy loves you.”
