Fitness trainer Francis Kiarie, alias Frankie Just Gym It on Friday, August 13 uploaded a photo on social media throwing netizens on a tizzy toxic debate.

Taking to Instagram, he uploaded a photo of himself holding a poster that read; “Look at your stomach are you happy?”

He captioned the photo to read;

“I’m just saying. We’ve got meal plans and workout programs going for 70% from today up until Monday! Swipe to see the details. Let’s burn that tummy!”

The post was met with the backlash to the highest degree. Many people responded by questioning what was the real context into which a gym trainer would put up such insensitive posts on their page.

While most netizens termed it as outright rude and provoking, others referred to it as body shaming thanks to the ‘woke’ culture.

They argued the poster was absolutely harmful especially to anyone who is easily influenced by societal pressures of looking a certain way in a world that teaches us to equate our value and worth with the way we look.

Today, Frankie took to Instagram to address the whole menace with lengthy posts and in his defence, he claimed the controversial post was meant for awareness.

This comes shortly after the father of three sent his baby mama socialite Corazone Kwamboka a birthday message terming her as his peace.

“Happy birthday to this beautiful lady of mine! Closing the doors on the world so we can be together is where I find the most joy. You are my peace!” he wrote.
