Gospel singer Charity Waruinu lands govt job

Taking to her official Facebook account on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Waruinu shared the good news with her fans, stating that she will be working in the protocol department at the office of the Deputy President Kithure Kindiki.
She further revealed that she will officially report to her new workplace on Monday, December 1, 2025.
In addition, the Wi Ngai hitmaker also thanked those who made it happen, including Kindiki and Mathira MP Eric Wamumbi, who highlighted her selfless nature on his official social media platforms.

“It’s now official: from the 1st of December 2025, I will be working in the office of the Deputy President in the protocol department. Eric Wamumbi MP Mathira, Thank you so much for being Kind to me. I truly appreciate you. I’m grateful for your support. Kithure Kindiki, My Boss, my sincerest thanks for your consideration and your time. God bless you. Elijah Njoroge Kururia, I am truly grateful for your assistance,” Waruinu announced.

Wamumbi to Waruinu
The lawmaker congratulated Waruinu on her new job and thanked the deputy president for giving her the opportunity.
“That stone that was rejected by many will end up being the cornerstone. Many thanks to my friend Deputy President Kithure Kindiki for such a wonderful honour. May God bless you and always walk with you. To charity Waruinu, your future is bright; go forth and conquer the world, your hard work, passion and humbleness has earned you God’s blessings,” Wamumbi said.
Waruinu’s selfless nature
On Friday, November 21, 2025, Wamumbi showered the Kikuyu gospel singer with praises for her selfless dedication and volunteer work at various events.
He described Waruinu as the true meaning of a hard worker, noting that he often sees her actively helping at functions, arranging chairs, giving water, directing guests, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

“Charity Waruinu. The real meaning of kujituma, I always see her in functions walking up and down, arranging chairs, giving water, directing people where to sit, yaani she does everything,” Wamumbi wrote.
“In many occasions, she volunteers herself with no pay, and in the evening she goes home happy, having done the job with a clean heart.”
In addition, Wamumbi asked if any of his followers has her personal number to send it to him.
“We must give this one her flowers when she can enjoy them. Someone, send me her number,” he added.
