Frankie Justgymit hits back at fans who feel entitled to police his love life

Popular fitness trainer and influencer Frankie Kiarie, alias Frankie Justgymit, has opened up about the sometimes overwhelming experience of being in the public eye, especially when it comes to fans who feel entitled to comment on his personal life and relationships.

Speaking during an interview with a local TV station on the night of Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Frankie revealed that while he appreciates the love and support from his followers, he often encounters fans who behave as though they have a right to dictate or judge his life choices.

He described this phenomenon as a form of entitlement that can be both confusing and exhausting.

“Some fans feel like they have the authority to tell me how I should live my life, who I should date, and what decisions I should make,” Frankie said.

“I have met people who genuinely think they know my story and feel entitled to express strong opinions about my relationships and lifestyle.”

Despite this, Frankie remains grounded and unfazed by such comments.

He emphasised that his life is built on his own values and decisions, not on the assumptions or expectations of others, no matter how loud or persistent those voices may be on social media.

He noted the contrast between online hostility and real-life interactions, pointing out that many of the so-called critics are vocal only behind the safety of their screens, while in person, the love and support far outweigh the negativity.

“There are keyboard warriors who feel confident behind their phones,” he explained, “but in day-to-day life, I receive much more love than hate. People who truly matter and care about me are supportive, and that is what keeps me going.”

Parenting

In the same interview, Frankie, who is a father of four, also spoke on the weight of balancing parenting with life in the public eye.

The fitness trainer, known for his online presence and personal life, often making headlines, said that while people may assume he has everything figured out, the reality is that he is simply doing his best every single day.

“I am balancing — even though I am just living life. I try as hard as I can, because at the end of the day, this life is what pays for everything. It pays for the family’s and the kids’ school fees,” he said.

He dismissed the idea that being present as a father is something to be applauded or praised, emphasising instead that it is a man’s duty — a standard, not a bonus.

“So I would not even call it balancing, because as a man, you are supposed to be present. You are supposed to be trying to make it work. It is not optional; it is something you should be doing,” he added.

Frankie admitted that being in the limelight can complicate things, especially when every move is scrutinised or misunderstood by the public.

Still, he maintained that the core of his life revolves around providing for and showing up for his children.

“I just try as hard as I can because, at the end of the day, this life is what pays for everything — it pays for the family and the kids’ school fees.”

Frankie also made it clear that despite the pressures of fame, he is first and foremost a father.

He noted that while many expect him to always maintain a certain image, his focus is not on perfection but on being dependable.

According to him, parenting is not something that is paused for success; it runs alongside it.

“Whatever you see me doing out here, whether it is creating content or building the brand, it is really just so I can take care of home,” he explained.
