Diana Marua has been forced to prematurely cut short her ‘maternity leave’ and take up a new role in television.

The mother of three has secured a new job as a television host on a popular dating show ‘Hello Mr Right’ which is coming back for a third season.

Bahati’s wife will host the show alongside comedian Dr Ofweneke and marriage counsellor Getrude Mungai.

Diana was officially unveiled as the show’s co-host on Friday evening April 14, 2023, in a star-studded event attended by celebrities including musicians Bahati, Guardian Angel, and comedians such as Blessed Njugush, Eddie Butita, Sandra Dacha, Akuku Danger among others.

“I am very humbled to be unveiled today as the co-host for the Mr Right show and I would like to promise my supporters that this would be bigger and better compared to seasons one and two, “Diana said.

Dr Ofweneke, who has been part of the show since the first season, expressed joy at the success of the previous episodes and promised to offer his best.

Diana’s maternity

Landing a job as a TV host is the biggest deal Diana has made ever since she gave birth to her third child.

Bahati and his wife were only blessed with a bouncing baby girl named Malaika on November 2, 2022.

The new role as Mr Right host now means that Diana is officially back from her maternity leave as she will be required to show up at work for her new job.
