Tanzanian artiste Diamond Platinumz was over the weekend hospitalised after falling ill.
In a statement, the ‘African Beauty’ crooner said he fell ill with a severe cold on Saturday before his Wasafi Festival Show in Arusha, Tanzania.
“Siku yangu ya leo ilianza vibaya sana Arusha, Homa Kali iliyopelekea hadi kulazwa kwa Muda, Namshukuru Mwenyez Mungu kwa sasa naendelea vyema, naendela kupata nguvu Msiache Kuniombea iii nipate nguvu zaidi na kufanya vyema kwenye Show Wasafi Festival baadae pale viwanja Eden Garden Arusha,” he stated.
Translated to, “My day today started very badly in Arusha (with) a severe fever that led to temporary hospitalization. I thank the Almighty God that I am doing well now. I continue to gain strength. Continue praying for me to gain strength for the Wasafi Festival Show at the Eden Garden Arusha.”
The artiste also shared a video of himself in a hospital bed being attended to by medics.
