Bolo Bespoke responds to critics accusing him of forcing ties with politicians
By Paulette Mboga, November 3, 2025Businessman and designer Bolo Bespoke has responded to claims that he has been forcing friendships and connections with politicians after photos and videos of him at high-profile events went viral.
Bolo addressed the criticism in a post on Monday, November 3, 2025, where he defended his actions, saying he was focused on building meaningful networks and growing his social capital.
Bolo dismissed the negative comments, asserting that people had the freedom to live their lives as they wished.

“Wewe endelea kusema venye tunaforce issues… well, contacts were exchanged, new relationships were formed, and social capital grew. Kila mtu afanye venye anataka na maisha yake. Nikitaka kukua Luo kingpin nakua tu,” Bolo said.
Mueni joins in to defend their actions
His wife, Mueni, also spoke out in defence of their presence at political and social events, saying they were not forcing anything but simply building connections like everyone else. “Wenye mnasema tunaforce issues come, we force them together side by side… It’s just a start….” she wrote.
The couple had attended Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang’s wedding, which attracted top leaders and celebrities. Their attendance sparked online discussions, with many accusing them of trying too hard to associate with politicians. However, Mueni later shared a throwback video showing that they had known Chesang and his new wife long before the wedding.

In her message, she celebrated the couple’s journey and expressed joy for being part of their special day. “Tumetoka mbali. Before you hate or judge me, know the price of these milestones. Congratulations to my big brother @honallanchesang and @chanellekittony for allowing us to share in your beautiful celebration. May God protect and bless your marriage abundantly, filling your home with endless love, joy, and laughter. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, peace, and unforgettable moments together. We love you both dearly,” she wrote.
The two have continued to face scrutiny over their close ties with prominent political figures, but Bolo and Mueni maintain that their relationships are genuine and built on respect and shared goals. Their remarks appear to signal that they are unbothered by criticism and intend to continue engaging in spaces where, as Bolo put it, “contacts are exchanged and social capital grows.”
