Bolo Bespoke opens up on family dispute after cousin speaks ill of him

In an Instagram post on Monday, August 25, 2025, he recounted how he supported the cousin for over a decade, even during his early Mkokoteni days when he had very little.
In his statement, Bolo explained that he paid the cousin’s rent, provided for their children, clothed them, and even helped sustain the cousin’s husband for many years.
“A cousin of mine, someone I supported for over 10 years, even during my Mkokoteni days when I had nothing, now has the audacity to speak ill of my family. This is someone whose rent I paid, whose kids I fed and clothed, and whose lazy husband I helped sustain for years. And now, just because I stopped giving them money, they suddenly find the courage to talk nonsense,” he wrote.
Despite these sacrifices, he expressed dismay that the family member had now found the audacity to speak ill of him simply because he stopped giving them money.
“Clearly, being there for them was the biggest mistake I made. But it’s okay; we move forward, one step at a time. And just to be clear, I’m not leaving home until I change home,” Bolo said, highlighting the pain of seeing years of loyalty and support met with disrespect.
He emphasised that his generosity was never transactional but stemmed from genuine care, making the betrayal all the more painful.
Despite the tension, Bolo remained resolute, noting that he is not leaving his home until he has transformed it to reflect his vision and standards.
“That’s why I’m here. It’s time,” he added.
Family moments
The revelation comes just days after he orchestrated a deeply emotional reunion that left his wife Mueni visibly overwhelmed as he surprised her upon her return from China after a month away.
In a video shared on YouTube on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the two could be seen reuniting at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where Bolo greeted Mueni with a beautifully crafted custom portrait of her.
Alongside the portrait, he presented her with an enormous bouquet of flowers adorned with a “Welcome Home” sign, amplifying the heartfelt atmosphere of the moment.
In the video, Mueni was seen shedding tears of joy as she leaned heavily on her husband for support, overcome with emotion by the thoughtful surprise.
Bolo, appearing equally excited, radiated happiness as he carefully guided his wife through the arrival terminal, his joy at having her back unmistakable.
Mueni had travelled to China on July 15, 2025, a decision born out of a mutual vision and sacrifice to pursue new opportunities that would ultimately benefit their family.
During her absence, Bolo openly shared their journey on social media, highlighting both the emotional challenges of separation and the determination they share to build a better future together.
