Just days after asking fans to pay millions to attend her birthday party, singer Akothee has decided she’s had enough of people who take photos and videos of her without her consent.

On Wednesday, the mother of five took to Instagram to demand privacy and respect from fans who stalk her and take secret videos of her in public.

But does she seriously want the attention to stop?

Akothee further noted that she regrets becoming popular adding that with the year starting on a low note for her, she would like to dodge the spotlight for a while.

“I regret the day I became famous, this ain’t getting funny, Even with my neck support and funny face some people would still insist on a selfie. Eeee is this love ama ni kitu sijui?

“Sometimes I am in pain and just pushing a little bit of life! Spare me the impromptu photos. Please! I know you love evidence ngojeni kidogo. The year started on a rough pitch for me! hata Nguvu ya kupiga picha Sina mtanisamehe,” she wrote.

She further recalled a previous altercation with a fan who according to her had recorded a whole movie while they were out shopping with her family.

“Someone tell me why some fans would meet you in a shop, not say hi or one word pretend like they have not seen you then immediately take out their phones and start recording you and taking photos.

“When you notice them they hide I almost went physical with one who became very rude to my sister in law who caught her with a whole movie of me and my family shopping. What’s not going on?” she quipped.
