Socialite Huddah Monroe has apologized to Member of Parliament (MP) Peter Salasya following their recent exchange online.
In her statement, the business lady expressed remorse over her remarks saying she had nothing against the lawmaker, she also affirmed the love and respect she has for him.
“I have nothing against you, I still have mad respect for you and a lot of love. You are a great man. Take care of yourself. No human is limited,” he said.
“I respect you a lot and I apologize for putting you on blast. See you at the top! Be blessed. By the way guys we never met. It started on these stories and it ends here. I have no time for negativity.”
Responding to the apology, Salasya rejected the apology saying he has no time for Huddah’s mediocrity, as he was now shifting his focus on politics where he thrives.
“Somebody tell this woman I have no time for her medicrioty, sasa aende aimbe wimbo na kudance na wasanii na kuchukuwa pesa kwa watu wenye wana pesa yenye haina kazi mimi nipige siasa that’s where I thrive. It’s time for work now. Mimi ni mwendazimu mwenye napenda controversy and I careless other than myself and my constituency the rest ni story za jaba,” he said.
Salasya’s remarks come after he expressed that he was giving up on his chase for Huddah.
This comes after Huddah took to social media to reveal that she had refunded back Ksh10,000 sent to her by the MP.
She explained that she was refunding the money because the amount was very insignificant to her.
“This guy sent me Ksh 10,000, which I didn’t even notice coz I do Ksh 50,000 giveaways. Usiniharibie jina coz of $80. Bro wacha members wajue nilirudisha pesa Ya chakula ya kuku. Mimi si kienyeji bro, tafuta size yako,” she said.
Salasya responded to her saying he had sent the money out of sympathy for the socialite as she had been begging him for money.
The vocal legislator chewed out the socialite claiming that she had edited her Mpesa messages to seem to have received millions yet she was constantly broke.
“Nimefika Uganda vizuri and I will be giving a video, but ni zee kuniliko na moor, she edited an mesa ate Ali receive 2M mpesa and yet we know Kenya the maximum is 500K. She is broke everyday she was asking money from me through WhatsApp hadi akanipa number yake ya Kenya Nikamuonea huruma nikasema let me just help her with 10,000,” he wrote
The MP further asserted that he no longer wants to associate with socialites since most of them live a pretentious life while suffering.
“From today henceforth I will never want to associate myself with a socialite. Yes it’s good to fake it until you make it but most of socialites suffer a lot let them live in reality and be real like me. Am more richer than her and I forgive her for calling my 10k lunch for kuku na ni yeye aliitisha pesa na hiyo ni school fees ama pesa ya mchango matanga mbili,”he said.
