Rapper Jackson Ngechu Makini alias Prezzo has shared his candid opinion on revolutionist Kasmuel McOure.
Speaking during a podcast session, Prezzo said Kasmuel was an opportunist taking advantage of the Gen Z movement to benefit himself.
He explained that anyone sane enough can read through his pretence and distinguish real activism from pretence activism for clout.
“I think he is just a clout chaser. Anybody who is okay upstairs will see the fuckery that this guy is trying to do. This guy is just looking for clout,” he said.
The rapper also spoke on his collapse during the launch of fellow artiste Bahati’s show. He explained that he collapsed because he had been extremely busy prior to the event.
“Bahati knows me very well to an extent whereby if there is a function he has to tell me a week in advance and during that week he has to call me every day kunikumbusha. There were a lot of things I was doing that week.
“So even on the day of the launch nilikuwa ofisini naendelea pale. Then you called and asked me what time I was arriving. That is when I remembered oh its today! You know I can never let you down, so I hurriedly left. Long story short, si ati nili faint after meeting the DP. That was in the middle of a red carpet interview,” he said.
Kasmuel gained popularity during the heightened Gen Z-led anti-government and anti-Finance Bill 2024 protests that rocked various parts of the country.
The youthful revolutionist was at the centre of attention due to his constant criticism of the Kenya Kwanza government and frequent appearance in demonstrations cladded in a three-piece suit, as well as live shows to speak about the country’s political atmosphere.
