Kenyan singer Brown Mauzo has shared a cryptic message on social media, just days after finalizing his divorce from socialite Vera Sidika.
The ‘Natamani‘ hitmaker took to his Instagram stories expressing his desire to start fresh with his partner.
“Can we fall in love again? Clean up the mess we made, we restart everything and forget about the past,” Mauzo wrote.
Although Mauzo didn’t specify the intended recipient of the message, the timing makes it unclear who the romantic appeal is directed towards.
Brown Mauzo, Vera divorce
Brown Mauzo’s cryptic post comes a week after his ex-wife Vera celebrated their divorce in a big exotic party.
Mauzo and vera ended their whirlwind romance nine months prior, after nearly three years of marriage.
The ‘Real Housewives of Nairobi‘ (RHON) star shared her excitement about finalizing the divorce on social media.
In a video, Vera wore a vibrant feathered carnival outfit paired with a sheer black bodysuit and a pink set. She expressed her newfound freedom in the caption, stating, “Ready for my divorce party!!! I feel free like a bird.”
The mother of two declared she no longer believes in marriage, calling it a scam. She shared footage from the night, showing her and her friends celebrating at an exotic nightclub. She promised fans that the full coverage of the night would be featured on RHON, noting that a divorce party is better than therapy.
Vera and Brown Mauzo married in October 2020.
While Vera asserted they were legally married, they had yet to have a formal ceremony. The couple shares two children: a 2-year-old daughter named Asia Brown and an 11-month-old son named Prince Ice Brown.
Before her divorce party, Vera Sidika asserted that Mauzo tried to change her personality during their marriage.
The mother of two made these statements in agreement with a post by a fan who in her opinion, Mauzo was trying to turn Vera into a good girl that she isn’t.
According to the fan, Vera Sidika is a baddie and anyone unable to handle that energy should be out of the door.
The fan had suggested that Mauzo was attempting to “unbaddie” Sidika, implying that he wanted to tone her down.
“Vera’s husband didn’t know he was marrying a baddie. My girl is a baddie, and if you can’t handle it, boy bye,” the fan commented.
“Don’t come into my life and try to unbaddie me,” Vera responded in a quick rejoinder.
