A body of a five-year-old girl who went missing a week ago has been discovered in Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga Amoth’s farm in Segere village in Alego Central.

Reports say that the young girl went missing after her mother left her in their home in Okoyo village when she took her sick younger sibling to hospital.

Speaking to a vernacular radio station, the area chief Felix Omudho claimed that the minor had followed her unsuspecting mother to the hospital and was spotted around Segere primary school where she was last seen alive

The administrator revealed that the body of the minor was discovered with its lower and upper jaw missing.

Her body has since been taken to Siaya County Referral mortuary where it awaits a postmortem exam as the police continue with investigation into the case.
