High Court Judge Stella Mutuku has allowed Sarah Wairimu to attend the burial of her slain husband Tob Cohen on Monday.
Justice Mutuku ordered the officer in command at Lang’ata Women’s Prison to escort her to the funeral which will be held at Jewish cemetery on Monday afternoon.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Director of Public Prosecutions did not object to Wairimu’s application to attend the burial.
Wairimu, who has been charged with Cohen’s murder, is due to take her plea later this week on September 26.
The Dutch tycoon was reported missing on July 19 and his body was found eight weeks later in a water tank at his Kitusuru home in Spring Valley, Nairobi.
It was reported that the last time the tycoon was seen in public, he had been dropped off at a club in Westlands, Nairobi.
That was the day he is believed to have disappeared.
