Deputy President William Ruto has accused unnamed political rejects and fraudsters of being behind a plan to edge him out of the ruling Jubilee Party.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, April 12, DP Ruto said that the unnamed persons were behind plans to make illegals changes in the party’s leadership structure.

Earlier on Saturday, the DP also took to Twitter to assure party members that he had alerted the Registrar of Political Parties of the said “fraudulent” changes the Jubilee Party’s National Management Committee.

According to Gazette Notice dated April 6, 2020, Jubilee Party gave the notice to change its party officials.

The party intends to replace former officials Fatuma Shukri, Pamela Mutua and Veronica Maina with Lucy Nyawira Macharia, Prof Marete Marangu, Walter Nyambati, Jane Nampaso and James Waweru.
