Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang and Channelle Kittony, the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure in Trans Nzoia County, sealed their love in a vibrant and culturally rich traditional wedding ceremony on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

The joyous occasion brought together a blend of tradition, elegance, and love, as family, friends, and dignitaries gathered to witness the union of two prominent young leaders.

Among the high-profile guests in attendance were KANU Chairman Gideon Moi, legislators, county officials, and respected community elders.

Channelle Kittony hails from a distinguished lineage. She is the daughter of renowned business leader Kiprono Kittony and granddaughter of the iconic former nominated Senator and Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Organisation (MYWO) chairperson Zipporah Kittony, a trailblazer in women’s leadership and empowerment in Kenya.

The ceremony was filled with colourful traditional attire, heartfelt speeches, and moments of cultural significance, symbolising unity and blessings from both families. Guests celebrated the couple’s journey with song, dance, and jubilation.

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi was also present at the event and shared his warm wishes for the couple.
