“IS THIS WOMAN ABOVE THE LAW? There’s this woman that keeps on assaulting fellow women within Kisumu Kibuye Market. She calls herself the chairlady or something of that sort there. She’s a dangerous woman to our mothers and even our sisters there,” Mosiria said on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

We cannot allow this kind of IMPUNITY to continue happening in our country in this day and age. Those responsible must be held accountable, and let this serve as a strong warning to anyone who thinks they can break the law without consequences,” he said.

He also referred to a video circulating online showing the woman assaulting a mother. “She’s assaulting a mother, vibaya sana na kumpiga kama nyoka. Help us get this woman arrested. I trust you have the power,” Mosiria said. He urged authorities to ensure that traders and market residents can go about their work in peace and safety.

Authorities have not yet confirmed any arrests related to the incident, but Mosiria’s appeal shows the growing demand for justice and the need to uphold the rule of law.
