Kenya Power announces Friday power blackout in various parts of the country

Kenya Power has announced a power black out in various parts of the country on Friday, July 23 to facilitate maintenance.

In a statement released on Thursday night, Kenya Power said parts of Machakos and Homabay counties will experience power interruptions from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm on Friday.

In Machakos, Kenya Power said parts of Imperial Sciences, Koto, Blowplast Industries, Muthama Heights, Prissy Apts and Dhanilas Pharma will experience power interruptions.

The state corporation also said that the areas of Civil Aviation, Canon Chemicals, Allpack Industries, Loneview Apts, Best Homes Apts and adjacent business in Machakos will also face power interruptions.

In Homabay County, Kenya Power said the markets of Kendubay, Adiedo, Omboga. Kosele, Nyakwere, Oriang and Pala will experience power interruptions.

Kenya Power also said Simbi and Migingo Primary Schools alongside Otok Secondary school will be out of power plus the area around Karabok Junction.
