Kenya Power has issued a statement over the recent power blackout in various parts of the country.
In a Tuesday, January 11 press release, Kenya Power said that electricity has been restored in all parts of the country after a power blackout was witnessed in various regions of the country.
“Power supply has now been restored to all parts of the country except Garissa, Mwingi and Kitui which are expected to be back on by 6pm,” Kenya Power said.
The national electricity supplier further stated that work has already commenced to ensure that power is restored nationwide.
“Work has also commenced to reconstruct the collapsed electricity towers,” Kenya Power said.
