Bogonko Bosire’s family is still hopeful that their son will one day walk home eight years after he went missing.

Speaking in a televised interview, the family of the missing journalist and blogger says they have been facing tough times since Bosire who was the sole breadwinner disappeared in September 2013.

The family also suffered another blow after Joshua Bosire, Bogonko’s brother committed suicide.

“The disappearance of my brother has really disoriented us as a family. He had helped educate our siblings and he even purchased the land we are living in. He was everything to us,” Elkana Bosire, the brother of Bogonko said.

His sister Esther Bosire pleaded with those with any information about the blogger’s disappearance to come out and help in finding him.

“We have not seen him since 2013. We beg you to please reach out if you have any information about his disappearance,” she said.
