49 stolen goats, sheep nabbed while being transported to Kiamaiko slaughterhouse

Police in Kyumbi, Machakos County have arrested two men who were transporting stolen goats and sheep.

The 49 domestic animals had been stolen in Malili area, Makueni County, and were en route to Kiamaiko slaughterhouse in Nairobi, police said.

The goats and sheep had been bundled into two matatus whose drivers are currently in custody as investigations continue.

Athi River OCPD George Kashmir told K24 Digital the suspects were arrested after they defied stop orders at a road-block in Kyumbi.
