“The measures are meant to prevent people from moving out and spreading out the disease. Remember that this is a new disease, a silent disease that we are still learning about it. Some people are asymptomatic, they don’t show any signs and there is no way of knowing who has its,” Dr. Aman said.

The Health officials said that adhering to social distancing, hygiene, keeping to self, and wearing masks will Kenya turn the tide the numbers soar.

“Remain in these zones that have been categorised as risk zones. This is a silent killer, assume you are a carrier,” said Dr. Aman.

Dr. Aman said health officials will be at the airport to facilitate their arrival and subsequent self-quarantine within their homes.
