President William Ruto has extended warm wishes to all candidates sitting the 2025 national examinations, alongside First Lady Rachel Ruto.

Through his official X account on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the President and First Lady acknowledged the hard work and preparation of students, encouraging them to approach their exams with confidence.

“Dear 2025 Candidate, you’ve worked hard, prepared well, and now your moment has come. Step into it with confidence, faith, and focus. Kenya is proud of you and cheering you on every step of the way,” they said.

This encouragement comes as thousands of students across the country begin the oral and practical phases of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, scheduled from Tuesday, October 21 to Monday, October 27, 2025.

KNEC has confirmed that this initial phase will cover subjects requiring hands-on assessment, such as languages and the arts, including French, German, Kenyan Sign Language (practical), Music (practical), and Arabic (oral).
