Parts of Kiambu, Bungoma counties to experience power outage on Saturday

Kenya Power and Lighting Company has announced power interruptions in parts of Kiambu and Bungoma Counties on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

The interruptions, according to the utility firm, will run between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, as a result of routine maintenance.

The utility firm has been carrying out routine maintenance across the country, which has led to an almost daily power interruption across several counties.

In its daily power interruption updates, the firm has not yet indicated when the power outages will be complete for a stabilised power supply.

“The listed areas will be affected by planned power interruptions tomorrow (30th March, 2024). The interruption is part of network maintenance,” Kenya Power stated.

In Kiambu, the outage will run between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, affecting BTL Police, Kenya Tents, Ruairi Prison, Redland Roses, Part of OJ, Shell OJ Petrol Stun, Wembley Riverside, Part of Sweet Water, Little More, Part of Taut City, Crawford International School, Hardy Kenya and adjacent customers.

In Bungoma, the outage will run from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm affecting Webeye Town, Webeye Sub-County Hops, Nabuyole Water Treatment Plant, Site & Service, Milo, Kakimayi, Khalumuli, Matulo, Sango, Pan African Chemical, Matete, Chebwayi, Mbande, Kuuywa, Nabwala, Mang’ana, Johari Maize Mill, Hongera Maize Mill, Lutwindiri, Nzoia Lurare, St. Paul’s Nzoia, Munyikana, Malaha, Wenyila, Bunjosi, Sirisia, Jaggery and adjacent customers.
