A family in Loitoktok Kajiado South has been left in devastation after their daughter went missing for two weeks now.

Eunice Nthenya Maingi, 15, went missing on the morning of Sunday, January 8, 2023, after she left her parents’ home in Kiwanjani to attend a church service, a few kilometres away.

The parents later established that the girl did not attend the church after she failed to return home.

The parents filed a missing person’s report at Loitoktok Police station two days later.

Eunice’s teary mother, Nancy Nthenya, says her efforts to trace her second-born daughter have been futile.

“It is traumatizing that so far nobody has given any information about my daughter’s last moments. She was in a jovial mood that morning. We had not heard any disagreement. It is a routine for her to leave for church earlier than us,” Nthenya narrated.

The family is appealing to members of the public to help them trace their missing daughter.

Anyone who knows her whereabouts has been encouraged to report to the nearest police station.

“My life has turned into a nightmare. I appeal to anybody with information that might help us trace her last moments to reach out to the nearest police station,” Nthenya appealed, further describing her daughter as disciplined.
